About Us

Space Agreement

The following agreement is a set of guidelines that every artist follow when working together, both in person and online. This agreement is intended to create welcoming spaces for all and to support creativity, mutual respect, learning and growth during CRIPSiE events.

When registering for a CRIPSiE event and upon reading this agreement, please consider it a confirmation that you will participate according to these guidelines. These are read at the beginning of a class to ensure understanding.

  • Respect everyone in the space. We aim to create a safe, accessible and inclusive space for all. Advocate for your needs by asking for accessibility support and taking breaks.

  • Be accountable and share your access needs upon registration so we can be sure they are ready for you. Our Operations Manager is happy to help with this – rebecca@cripsie.com  .

  • Understand that many Artists in our spaces have access needs, and CRIPSiE does its best to make spaces accessible for the majority. Artist access needs are private and will not be shared.

  • Be aware of mobility devices in the space and the speed and space they need so the Artist can move freely. Only touch mobility devices with the permission of the artist using them.

  • Support CRIPSiE Facilitators in their access needs by being aware they use different processes to create art that works for each of them - this includes the age of the Artists allowed in the room. Ask the Rehearsal Assistant if you do not understand the direction or intention of activities. They are there to support everyone in the space.

  • Children are welcome at our fundraisers, community chats, events and performances. For performances, we suggest you check our website and social media for content and trauma warnings to decide what is right for your child.

  • Arrange to meet before or after events to catch up or visit, or to warm up and cool down, but respect that the Facilitator will be busy getting prepared or packing up and will require that time for those activities.

  • Practice kindness for our community by not wearing perfumes, colognes or scented products.

Support the health and safety of all our community members; please do not come to CRIPSiE spaces if you have any of the following symptoms below.  We understand that some people live with chronic versions of the symptoms below.  Our concern pertains to new, worsening, or unusual symptoms that may signify an immune response. If you do, you could be asked to leave.
